Buatong sticky waterfall

When I heard we were going to hike a sticky waterfall, I misunderstood what my mom was saying and started telling my friends at school that we were hiking up a reverse waterfall, where the water flows upward. They didn't believe me. As it turns out, the water did NOT go in reverse, but we DID get to climb up the falls and it was awesome.

When we arrived, we had to to walk down what Poppy and Safia called "SO MANY STAIRS," but after a short time we arrived at our first waterfall. We walked up the white stone because our guide, Deedee, said that the white sandstone was sticky while the green slippery. In my opinion, one of the best waterfalls that we went up was the one where you got to get the most wet. There was this part where you would walk under a cliff, and on that cliff was a ton of water falling down the sides of it, so me and Charlie both stood under it and got soaked.

There were about 7 or 8 other waterfalls that were also really fun. Some of them were really steep and others involved ropes, but some of them were really interesting and almost felt fake. For example, a lot of the waterfalls had bubble like terrain where the rocks were plenty big but in almost perfect half spheres. When we were at our second to last waterfall, I said to Poppy, Safia, and Charlie, "Not to jinx it or anything, but nobody has fallen this whole time." Safia agreed, but just to make sure, she walked to the side and knocked on a tree, but ironically while doing so she tripped! She was ok so we all laughed.

Once we were done hiking the waterfalls, we went to this little restaurant a short ways away from the waterfalls where Deedee seated us at a table that seated all 7 of us. Before we got to the waterfalls, Deedee had asked for our orders on the bus so that she could order ahead of time... or so we thought. Deedee ended up cooking the most delicious meals herself including pad ka pao and pad Thai along with Thai snacks of crispy milk butter and fried banana chips. She prepared them in the the kitchen of the restaurant! Best guide ever!

By the way, me and my dad created this video for my friends.
